On June the 25th (2020) IGEL Disrupt 2020 Digital will take place. I’m thrilled to be able to represent our company “Nerdio” at this already legendary annual EUC event. Come and hear what I, and dozens of others have to say, and learn how we (Nerdio) can help you to accelerate your business by moving to the Cloud, and of course, to meet up and learn from peers spread across the globe. Nerdio makes deploying, managing and maintaining Windows Virtual Desktop a Breeze – That’s a promise.

I just finished presenting at the first ever online Microsoft Meet Community event around Windows Virtual Desktop. Thank you, Microsoft NL and Christiaan Brinkhoff for the invite. And of course a big thank you to all who joined my session. As promised during the presentation, here is my slide deck. Hopefully some of you learned, heard, or saw something new today. If you have any questions, let me know or feel free to reach out to any of the companies I mentioned. I’m sure they won’t mind ;)

On June the 19th (2019) I delivered a presentation on the Windows Virtual Desktop for a company named SBC-Solutions, fitting, right? I had around 75 minutes to deliver including questions and discussion. It all turned out very nicely, my session was well received with tons of interaction from the audience. Below are the slides I used. They are in Dutch, though I’m sure most of it will make sense.

Continue Reading12 noteworthy announcements made during AWS re:Invent 2018
Average time to read: 10 minutesIn this post, I’d like to highlight a couple of eye-catching announcements (12 to be a bit more precise) made throughout re:Invent 2018, AWS’s annual main event, which took place in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have never been to one of their conferences personally, but man, would I like to go someday. AWS has always been and still is the Nr 1 in Cloud services and solutions worldwide. Of course, Microsoft is catching up quickly. Let’s dig in and see what they’ve been up to.

I’ve also included a few images here and there.
Synergy 2018: Per-user Outlook search indexing and OST caching options. What was announced? High level cheat sheet included.
Average time to read: 5 minutesDuring Citrix Synergy a ton of new and exciting announcements were made. I wasn’t there to witness it myself but luckily, I was able to enjoy the Keynote (amongst other sessions and announcements) from a sunny and warm terrace (cold beers included) since the weather here in the Netherlands was some of the best we’ve seen in a long time. Of course, the 9-hour time difference also helped.
2016 — A personal look in the rearview mirror
Average time to read: 6 minutesAnd what a year it has been! Personally as well as professionally I have managed to improve and surprise myself on multiple levels. On some occasions I wasn’t even capable of spelling ‘comfort-zone’ correctly, I was so far off. The best thing is, I already have some great prospects for 2017 as well, but I’ll (have to) save that for a future post, not to long from now. 2016, like 2015 before that was again packed with community get-togethers’, mostly in the form of conferences, some small (er) some big/huge, but all fun and it truly never gets tiring, presenting included. Ok, let’s reflect for a minute, shall we…
