The idea behind this project is simple, we’re looking for as many Cloud related design principles, best or common practices, (funny) quotes, tips & tricks, and architectural recommendations as possible. Almost anything goes. Forget about AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, Oracle, and all others, it’s the concept that matters, not the underlying vendor – 99 out of 100 times anyway. It can involve SaaS, IaaS, DaaS, PaaS, RaaS, or whatever aaS you can think of – private, public, or hybrid Cloud are all optional. General recommendations are more than welcome as well, it doesn’t have to involve technology per se. Please, read on.

In fact, if that’s you’re only objective and short-term focus/strategy (saving money, that is) you might want to reconsider. Having said that, Cloud computing does give us an almost unlimited amount of options (services) to choose from, which can help in getting work done more efficiently. What happened with Citrix Printing throughout 2018?!

Citrix has had a very busy year. After the release of XenApp and XenDesktop 7.16 in November of 2017, four new versions were released throughout 2018 – XA/XD 7.17, 7.18, and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 1808, and 1811. Wow! From delegated control to the Workspace App, numerous HDX and ICA improvements, LHC, Config Logging, and the list goes on. Release after release brought new and improved features and functionalities, awesome! But what about printing..?
