A few months ago, when Windows Virtual Desktop was still in tech preview I published v1.0 of this sheet. A few weeks ago a bunch of new partners were officially announced and added to the WVD ecosystem, making it 13 in total. This sheet provides you with a brief and clear overview on all companies and technologies/products involved.

First and foremost, we would again like to say THANK YOU! Thank you, to everyone who contributed, bought a copy, helped spread the word, or otherwise. It’s been quite a roller-coaster, and to say we enjoyed every moment of it would be an understatement.
Continue ReadingEUC-X becomes EUCdigest, a name change. About to launch!
Yes, we changed our name from EUC-X to EUCdigest. It turned out that EUC-X was already taken (an unfortunate timing issue) and we were legally forced to come up with something else. Luckily we had EUCdigest as a backup, and to be honest, we like it… A LOT! Perhaps better even.

Today I want to give you a heads up on something exciting we (and I’ll get to the who we are part shortly) are currently working on/developing.

Continue ReadingVDI Drones – 2019 update
Average time to read: 4 minutesRemember when I told you about VDI Drones, back in September 2018? No? Click the link below if you would like to learn more. Anyway, since then we got a ton of feedback. In this post, we’d like to share what has happened in the meantime. Again, we would like to thank you all for your time and efforts throughout the last couple of months, to say you’ve been helpful would be a major understatement.
De Technical Fellows zijn een stel apart
Average time to read: 2 minutesEn daar is niks aan gelogen.
Liquidware Stratusphere UX just got a big update
Average time to read: 4 minutesThroughout my time at Liquidware Stratusphere UX was always one of the favorites, during customer visits, demo’s, tech sessions, you name it. Not really surprising, since detailed insights into what’s happening from a technical as well as user perspective is a very important part of the end user experience and ongoing (never ending, it seems) management puzzle. This applies to on-premises as much as it does to various cloud environments, never mind which one.
Direct IP printing for the masses. Easy and effective
Average time to read: 5 minutesDirect IP printing is where you print directly from your desktop machine (a physical one, in most cases) to a print device, meaning no print servers or other infrastructural components sit in between. This isn’t new technology, though, the way you handle or manage such a setup has changed over time. How can we take advantage of direct IP printing without the drawbacks that usually come with it? That’s what I’d like to discuss today.
Introducing: VDI Drones – Mass bench-marking and load testing, easy as pie
Average time to read: 14 minutesAbout two weeks ago I had the pleasure to sit down with Dennis Smith – founder and owner of Gourami software. Dennis and I have known each other for a couple of years now and I’ve come to know Dennis as real IT nerd with a big passion for developing software – free (community) software, as well as various ‘paid for’ solutions. Today I would like to introduce you to VDI Drones, a new product released by Gourami aimed at benchmarking/load testing your virtual and underlying physical infrastructure.
